Integrated Optics Joins Space Cluster Lithuania
We are delighted to welcome UAB Integrated Optics, a laser manufacturer, to Space Cluster Lithuania – the national network uniting expertise across the space sector.
Integrated Optics specializes in designing ultra-compact laser sources used in spectroscopy, flow cytometry, LiDAR systems, and quantum research. Their solutions are distinguished by high spectral stability, modularity, and adaptability for both scientific and industrial applications.
A major milestone for the company was achieved on June 23, 2024, when a 405 nm SLM laser developed by Integrated Optics was launched into space as part of the University of Vienna’s quantum computing mission. Just three weeks later, the mission confirmed that the laser had not only withstood the extreme conditions of space but was functioning flawlessly – a strong validation of the company’s Printed Optical Circuit Board (POCB) technology.
By joining Space Cluster Lithuania, Integrated Optics brings laser expertise to our growing ecosystem. Their contribution will support the development of innovative optical, photonics, and quantum technology applications for future space missions.
We warmly congratulate Integrated Optics on becoming a member of our cluster and look forward to collaborative projects that will strengthen Lithuania’s position in the international space technology market.
